A young girl named Alex was diagnosed with cancer at age 1. Doctor's doubted she would ever walk. By age 2 she was walking with leg braces.
On her 4th birthday, she told her parents she wanted to start a lemonade stand to raise money to help fight the cancer. In the first year of her lemonade stand she raised $2,000, and she continued to run a lemonade stand for charity every year.
Sadly she passed away at age 8, but not before she raised over 1 million dollars for charity!
Her family is continuing her vision through a charity founded in her name, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
